After little to no rain for almost 2 months we’ve been having crazy intense thunderstorms this past week. Sadly, last night’s thunderstorm blew over my tallest sunflower stalk which was reaching Jack and the Beanstalk heights (7-8′). One of the smaller first sunflowers bloomed though and I love the colors.

The sunflower looks beautiful! I assume that no pictures of the house means there was no structural damage from the falling of the other plant?
This is beautiful! If you check my travel blog you will see that Zach and I attempted to take some photos of flowers but your pictures remain untouched. 😉 I’m sorry to hear about your stalk…see you soon!
