I was in Minnesota this past weekend and had the pleasure of photographing Renee and Connor while I was there. Here are a few of my favorites – lots more are posted over here on my Flickr photostream.

I’m excited to introduce you all to my newest ‘hobby’. After a bit of soul searching and deliberation about the intersection of my interests/skills and others’ needs (and I use ‘needs’ very loosely) I’ve decided to give pet photography a go. I’ve been working on beefing up my portfolio for the past couple of months and I’m pleased to introduce you to my website: StillsbyGreta.com. The photogenic dogs featured in the gallery include: Annie, Walter, Peanut, Josie, and BEAR!
If you know of anyone that’d be interested in having pet/animal photos taken, please pass my site along to them! (I’d also photograph humans, but prefer animals. Nothing personal, folks.)
Last weekend I got to spend a rare treasure of a day with Liz at the beach on the North Shore (of Massachusetts, none of this north shore Minnesota business). A day at the beach is my favorite – hands down. We ended the beach day with a trip to the epic Captain Dusty’s. There are three locations but the best is Manchester-by-the-Sea. This is also the site of where I obtained my freshman fifteen. It could have been worse, Mom. I could have gained the weight from beer or something less tasty.
This past Saturday, my cousin Heather tied the knot with Isaiah Brooms in Arlington, VA. Pictures from the big day are posted on my Flickr photostream. Congrats, guys!
If you’ve been looking for pictures of what Bear and I have been up to (since Luke doesn’t like to be photographed) check out my feed on Instagram (http://instagram.com/gretterath). The quality of the photos is pretty terrible since I’ve been using the camera on my phone. If you’re on Instagram and I’m not already following you, leave your username in the comments.
